Reunion System Finds 4,000 Missing Children

SERVICE 2020/12/16 11:15

The reunion system of the Ministry of Public Security has released 3,978 messages of missing children and 3,901 missing children have been found since the system was launched three years ago.

The system was developed by the Ministry of Public Security based on cracking down on the abduction of women and children on the Internet. It was officially launched on May 15, 2016.

Once the message of a missing child is released, the platform helps public security organs release the message to the surrounding areas of the place where the child is missed through new media and mobile application terminals immediately. The message let more people learn the relevant information and encourage them to offer clues, assisting public security organs to solve cases as soon as possible.

At present, a number of new media and mobile applications are connected to the platform.

At a event themed caring for children and opposing abducting and trafficking held in Beijing, the policemen taught tips to prevent abduction and trafficking to parents and children.

Publicity agents at the event urged society to raise anti-abduction awareness and called for more loving people to join anti-abduction efforts to create a safe environment for children.
